Although the Super Bowl will take center stage this weekend, there is plenty of buzz surrounding the 2015 Phoenix Open. That's because it is the most rowdy tournament in golf, it attracts a boatload of people and Tiger Woods will be teeing it up in this year's event.

As for those bold predictions ... well, you have to read on to find out what they are.

Zach Johnson missed the cut at the Humana Challenge, so why not miss the cut at the Phoenix Open as well? Okay, that may be a bit harsh, but the one-time Masters champion hasn't given us much reason for optimism as of late.

Okay, this one isn't too bold, but a lot of people are wondering how Tiger will react to the rowdy crowd on the 16th hole. My best guess? He will go along with the fun, and pump up the crowd as if he hit a hole-in-one, which he has done at the 16th in the past.

Speaking of hole-in-one, someone will sink one at the 16th this year. That would surely get the craziest hole in golf pumped up. It would be nice if it was Tiger, but something tells me that is not going to be the case.

Bubba Watson is already off to a great start this season. Translation: Many people will expect a victory from the pink driver user this weekend. I am predicting Watson to make the cut, and then to make a charge up the leaderboard in the final round.

Although so many people would love to see Woods win this weekend, who knows if that will actually happen. Regardless, fans can expect Tiger to make the cut, and then semi-compete this weekend. He will definitely show signs of progress at the Phoenix Open.

Rickie Fowler seems to always finish in the top five at majors. Okay, so this tournament isn’t a major, but Tiger is playing in it, so it might as well be. Regardless, Fowler is one of the best talents in the field, and a strong finish very well could be in store for him.

4. A Lesser-Known Player Will Finish in the Top 5

Lesser-known players always seem to find themselves near the top of the leaderboard in well-known tournaments. In this year's edition of the Phoenix Open, I am predicting that player to be Brooks Koepka, who is already off to a great start this season.

Surely Phil Mickelson’s terrible 2014 season is in the past, right? For what it’s worth, Lefty has already played in one tournament this year (last week). He made the cut, shot in the negatives and showed promise. He will continue to show promise by finishing in the top 20 this weekend.

2. Jordan Spieth Blows a 54-Hole Lead

Jordan Spieth doesn’t get as much attention as Rory McIlroy or Rickie Fowler, but he is still one of the best young golfers on tour. He even already has a win this season. I think a 54-hole lead sounds about right for Spieth. Unfortunately, so does a blown lead.

The No. 1 thing Bill Haas has going for him is the fact that McIlroy isn’t part of the field. He is also coming off a victory. Therefore, he is on a roll, and will continue said roll by winning back-to-back tourneys.
