There are a number of the world's best golfers who have yet to win a major championship. Some of those players enter this week's Open Championship on a roll and one of those players could end his major drought. Here are the top five players who could win their first major at the 2015 Open Championship.

Garcia has come close to winning majors on multiple occasions, but has never finished the job. If he could win at St. Andrews, it would be even more special for the talented Spaniard.

Day is still only 27 years old and he will eventually win a major. Despite battling vertigo at the U.S. Open, he was still in the hunt. Expect Day to contend again this week.

Matsuyama is one of the most physically talented players in the world. He figures to win a major once he gets more experience, but he could compete this week on talent alone.

It looked as if Johnson would get his first major at the U.S. Open, but he fell short. He's got the game and he's in good form coming into the British Open. Expect him to be near the lead all week.

Fowler has shed the overrated tag with wins at the Players Championship and the Scottish Open. That Scottish Open win bodes well for Fowler's chances this week.
