Tiger Woods Wants to Play Masters, Says 'I Need to Get Back Physically'

By Anthony Blake

Tiger Woods hasn’t played in a golf tournament since a back injury forced him to withdraw from an event back in February, but he told Good Morning America that he is “trying every day to get back and play” at the Masters in two weeks.

Augusta National is a course that fits Woods perfectly and always allows him to contend when he’s physically able to play, but given how his previous event finished and the ongoing ailments he’s suffered through in recent years, it’s hard to see him actually being relevant on the weekend vying for another green jacket.

But there’s no doubt golf needs him back out there, so here’s to the best of health in his preparation.
