Jason Day Calls Tony Romo 'Sneaky Talent' as Golfer after US Open Qualifying Bid

By Anthony Blake

The stellar golf game of one Tony Romo has been public knowledge over the past decade or so of his stay in the sports spotlight.

He’s attempted to qualify for the U.S. Open several times in the past, but this time he caught the eye of current PGA Tour star Jason Day.

The former Dallas Cowboys quarterback turned CBS NFL analyst offered some tongue-in-cheek comments on his golf game as well.

Not sure when Romo will receive that coveted invite from Augusta National, but perhaps his game has the tools required to make it a full-time pursuit in the near future.

Shooting a 75 in a U.S. Open qualifier is nothing to sneeze at.
