Jason Dufner Drains 30-Footer to Win Memorial Tournament in Style

By Anthony Blake

Much like his PGA Tour career to this point, Jason Dufner‘s four-day adventure at the Memorial Tournament was pretty up and down.

After a pair of 65s in the opening two rounds, a 77 on Saturday put him in the chasing position heading into Sunday, but that didn’t deter his hot putter.

Jason Dufner with authority! He locks up his 5th TOUR title.

This 30-foot par at the last allowed Dufner to card a 68 in the final round and win by three shots after weather delayed the proceedings.

Because this happened…

Players are now in position to resume Round 4.

And this was needed…

With thunderstorms in the area, play has been suspended for the second time today.

But still, just as he has throughout his career, Dufner showed the perseverance necessary to win Jack Nicklaus‘ tournament at Muirfield Village and secure his fifth tour title.
