Houston Texans star runningback Arian Foster has been nominated for three ESPY awards for the upcoming ESPN show. Foster led the NFL in rushing in 2010 in just his first season as a starter, so this comes as no surprise.

He needs your support Texans fans, as voting for the awards ends on July 9th! The show will air on Wednesday, July 13 at 9 pm ET.

Foster is nominated for Best Breakthrough Athlete, Best NFL Player, and the Castrol Edge Strongest Performance Award. He had 1616 yards, 16 touchdowns, 66 receptions and 604 receiving yards in 2010. His 2220 yards from scrimmage is ranked as the 18th best of all time.

Well, all we can say is….it took long enough to figure out the run blocking scheme brought over by Boobiak and Rick Smith from Denver !!
Slaton wouldn’t have done much worse as a starter.
That said, Foster ran wild last year and I’m hoping for an encore performance, as Schaub is a choker inside the 20′s(both 20′s)!

Yea it would be nice to see Foster get like 17 or 1800 yards next year and try and make Matt Schaub become more of a game manager getting the ball to Andre more often instead of the other team..
