[picappgallerysingle id="6718753"]The Kansas City Chiefs have invested a lot in Matt Cassel and now he has no more excuses. This offseason the Chiefs organization hired offensive coordinator Charlie Weis to improve the teams offense and Matt Cassel’s performance.

Cassell needs to pay dividends on the Chiefs investment, and I believe this might be the year he starts making those payments. The Chiefs stockpiled their offensive weapons with the drafting of RB Dexter McCluster and signing Thomas Jones in free agency. The Chiefs will need to have improved play from their offensive line however.
