Kansas City Chiefs targeting Steve Breaston as a slot receiver

Steve Breaston was an excellent slot receiver in Arizona when Todd Haley was an offensive coordinator with the Arizona Cardinals. Breaston would get open thanks to Larry Fitzgerald and Anquan Boldin being covered. Breaston failed to prove himself as a #2 wide receiver last season, but he could be an effective slot receiver in Kansas City behind Dwayne Bowe and Jonathan Baldwin on the depth chart. Chris Chambers would be the #4 wide receiver with Dexter McCluster mainly focusing on special teams.

Of all the players available. WTF!! Breaston? And then let Waters go… are the chiefs not trying to improve? We have all these NEEDS and they pick up second rate players? What about the fans getting a good product.
