Penn State Running Back Silas Redd Considering Transfer To USC
Rob Christy-US PRESSWIRE

Silas Redd is going to be sought after by a lot of programs.  The star running back at Penn State is looking to move on after the sanctions that were handed down by the NCAA and he has USC on his mind.  Sounds like a pretty good fit for the guy.

Imagine Silas Redd going to a team like USC that already has a great passing offense thanks to the exploits of the Heisman favorite Matt Barkley.  He is going to run wild at USC if he chooses to go there.  The lanes will be open and USC will be ready to make a run for the title.

Expect Redd to take his time with this.  He does not have to decide right away but he will decide quickly. USC sounds like a good fit right off of the bat.  There might not be a better chance for him to win a title than at USC.  There will be more programs that need backs but USC offers so much more.

Silas Redd could just be the first person to transfer from the program.  The future looks bleak if you stay with PSU.  If you move, things could get a lot better.  If Redd is serious about leaving and heading to USC, he is going to love that move.  He will be in a great shot to win a title and he will have left the horrors of PSU behind him.  Good tradeoff right there.
