NCAA Football: Way too early Bowl Predictions
Mark J. Rebilas-USPRESSWIRE

Football is so close, yet so far away. Even though the first game has yet to kick-off, it’s never too early to look at the 35 bowl games and who could be participating in them.

It’s fun making early season bowl predictions and then looking back at the end of the season and seeing how terrible you did. So take a look, and when the bowl season rolls around see how close (or off) I am.

From Albuquerque on December 15th to Miami on January 7th, my prediction for all 35 bowl games.

New Mexico Bowl (Dec. 15th) – San Diego State v. Louisiana Tech

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl (Dec 15th) – Fresno State v. Miami (OH)

Poinsetta Bowl (Dec. 20th) – Nevada v. BYU

Beff O’Bradys Bowl (Dec. 21st) – UConn v. SMU

BCS Bowls

Rose Bowl (Jan 1st)

Oregon v. Michigan

Oregon wins the Pac-12 North and returns to the Rose Bowl after losing to USC in the Pac 12 title game. Michigan gets to Pasadena by winning the Legends Division and defeating Wisconsin in the Big 10 title game.

Orange Bowl (Jan 1st)

Florida State v. South Florida

Florida State takes care of business in the ACC title game against Virginia Tech, and faces one of the biggest surprise stories in South Florida, who advances to their first ever BCS game after winning the Big East.

Sugar Bowl (Jan. 2nd)

Alabama v. Virginia Tech

Battle of conference losers. Both Alabama and Virginia Tech do enough during the regular season to earn a BCS game despite not winning their division.

Fiesta Bowl (Jan. 3rd)

Oklahoma v. Wisconsin

Oklahoma earns a berth to Phoenix after winning the Big 12. They will face Wisconsin who goes undefeated during the regular season, but loses to Michigan in the Big 10 title game.

BCS Title Game (Jan. 7th)

LSU v. USC

It’s LSU top ranked defense versus USC high powered offense. If this matchup comes to fruition, it could be one of the best in recent memories.
