Rumor: Howard Thinking About LA-LA Land
Dwight Howard has reportedly added Los Angeles to his list of preferred destinations, not to play with Kobe and the Lake Show, but rather CP3 and the Blake Show. Howard says he has been watching “a lot” of Clippers games this year, and apparently he likes what he sees.
Three years ago, you couldn’t get a superstar to even consider the “other team in Los Angeles” as a possible landing spot, but now here we are. The Clippers already have a playoff caliber team with Championship aspirations, but the addition of Howard would not only make them favorites in the west, but in the entire NBA. That trio would be younger and far more balanced then what the “super-friends” have down in Miami, plus their supporting cast is undeniably superior as well.
The Clippers have been a fan favorite team since the start of this season, more specifically from the moment Chris Paul came aboard. To start the year, however, things were not a slam dunk. The rebuilt, new look Clippers took a little time to gel and become accustomed to one another. But as of late, they appear to be the team that we all expected, fast, strong, athletic and a force to be reckoned with. They have won three straight games, including solid, head turning victories over the Heat and Lakers. It’s wins like those that have drawn the attention of everyone around the league, including Superman.
Howard will become a free agent at the end of this season and in spite of the Magic’s success this year, all signs point to a jailbreak for the big man. Howard has long been vocal of Orlando’s inability to surround him with a Championship team, and it appears he will be taking that matter into his own hands by years end, or perhaps even sooner. Sizing up potential suitors, Dwight has been putting together a short list. As of right now, the Clippers are on it and have to be near the top.

Wow, I really hope that happens. Kobe and co deserve it.
Only way the Magic even think about trading Howard to the Clipper is by asking for Blake Griffin. No way does Griffin stay with the Clippers.
