Miami ends season in ugly fashion
And that’s a wrap folks.
The Miami Dolphins had no care, no desire and no effort in a horrible 38-7 loss to the New England Patriots on Sunday.
Tyler Thigpen played quarterback and just about all of the bench players got into a game, that resulted in Miami getting a top-15 pick in this April’s draft.
That’s about the only good thing to come of this season.
It became strikingly obvious that a change needs to be made in Miami. The Dolphins looked as if they didn’t care, or as if owner Stephen Ross told them to mail it in.
In a season finale, that means nothing to the Pats, Miami laid an egg.
It was ugly in every sense of the word, and if players were playing for their job, only Brandon Marshall and Devon Bess showed they should be back next season.
That’s it. Well, here’s to 2011, happy new year’s everyone.

The Number one problem is the coaching. We are way to conservative. Look at how we used Marshal 6’3″ 235lbs. Ronny Brown averaged 2 yards a carry. Unexceptable he needs to go and make room for a young hungry back. Ronny Brown was a Cadillac back up at Auburn. He never had to carry a team. He runs soft and shys away from contact. He is to big and to fast to be as ineffective as he is. He is actually a liabilty to a young struggling QB. Look at Sanchez and how he is surrounded by veteran players who execute thier position. We need a Veteran QB. Dolphins should see what Hasselbeck is doing and offer him a 2 year deal. The youngster needs a clip board and a baseball cap. Cowers,Gruden,Dungy all coaches we should interview. Get rid of this coach! Never seen a coach celebrating so much because we kicked a field goal. Thats a failure to score a T.D. Coach! You must develop an agressive vertical attack offense . McNab is cool if we can get him. I dont want to see another year of miserable QB play. We must acquire a QB this offseason! No more conservative coaching in Miami. How did we lose 7 home games? Notice we played good and were more focused on the road. Lots of beautiful women and parties in South Beach. Miami Youngsters control the party and don’t let the party control you. We need one more dominant defensive lineman. We need to work on catching our interceptions this offseason. All DB’s work on your hands! We had an opportunity to close games if we secure those interceptions over 30 drops.
Get a QB and get a aggressvie coach. We long time Miami fans were spoiled by Marino.
Sorry it took me so long to respond! You were 100% right at the end of last season…and Miami did none of it! Should be another fun one ahead!!
Somebody contact the owners and shoot them my comments. If they want I will come work in there front office. I am a Miami native. I now live in California. We have a potentially great reciever core. Next season try the fade route to Marshall inside the red zone everytime Coach. He and Bess are the most underrated recievers because our QB play is insefficient, inneffective, and at this time irrelevant. Go Get a QB! Miami needs to be in the Playoffs next year. Time to do what you need to do.
