Brewers Should Think About Giving Ryne Sandberg Shot At Manager

RANT It!

The Milwaukee Brewers are in search of a guy who will be around for awhile and why not give Ryne Sandberg at least an interview. Many people felt that Sandberg was going to be the next manager for the Cubs, but it did not work out. Sandberg has been a minor league manager for four years and deserves a shot or the least an interview.

One of the main reasons I think Sandberg would make a great Brewers manager is he knows how to play the game. Players would respect him for all he has done and he would be a good teacher as well. The Brewers players are young and they need a guy like Sandberg who can help them when they struggle or have questions about the game. Doug Melvin will probably never offer Sandberg an interview, but the thought of him running the club is interesting.
