Terry Bradshaw tosses Vikings Brett Favre under the bus

Anyone who has watched FOX Sports Sunday Pre-Game Show in the past decade, knows that analyst/commentator/former 4 time Super Bowl winning quarterback Terry Bradshaw was throwing out some man-love for Mississippi born Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre, now Bradshaw is simply throwing Brett Favre under the bus. While giving a speech today in Shreveport Mississippi at the Independence Bowl Kickoff Luncheon, (that’s right folks, college football starts this weekend!) Terry Bradshaw took pokes at just about everything and everyone in the NFL. He was harsh in his comments about Pittsburgh Steelers QB Ben Roethlisberger and a possible reduction in his suspension,saying he didn’t support a reduction. He said he favored Tom Brady over Peyton Manning because Brady has won more Super Bowls. He said he can’t stand Chad Ochocinco. But some of the harshest criticism was directed at a player he spoke so highly of just years ago, Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre.
Bradshaw stated that he thinks Brett Favre is a great player, “He’s a great player-never seen anything like it”. But the accolades stopped there. In speaking about the retirement situation which has surrounded Favre for the past three seasons, Bradshaw said, “I don’t know who that guy is. You kiss his ass long enough, that’s what happens”. That’s pretty damn brutal from someone who defended him on television throughout Favre’s career.
He went on to say that he always seems to do something stupid. He questioned his judgment to throw the interception in the NFC Championship game last year.
Well, don’t take it personal Brett, he also tossed his former team under the bus, saying if he had it to do all over again, he would like to have played with the New Orleans Saints instead of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
