Vikings RB Adrian Peterson Advances to Second Round of Madden 2012 Cover Vote
Minnesota Vikings fans would love to see running back Adrian Peterson on the cover of Madden 2012 after proving to be one of the top players at his position since joining the NFL in 2007. Now, Peterson is one of 16 finalists to appear on this year’s cover of the hit video game.
EA Sports and ESPN’s SportsNation teamed up for the Madden 2012 Cover Vote–which allows fans to choose the player they want to see on this year’s cover. Peterson entered the tournament as a No. 9 seed and defeated Chicago Bears defensive end Julius Peppers in the first round by receiving 57 percent of votes from fans.
After his first-round win over Peppers, Peterson has a second-round matchup against San Diego Chargers quarterback Philip Rivers. Vikings fans can help Peterson advance to the second round by checking out the bracket and placing a vote for their beloved running back.

Are you kidding me!?!?!???
Vote for everybody EXCEPT for Peterson!!
We don’t need the Madden curse to screw up his season. Seriously, if you’re a Vikings fan, put in your votes for ANYONE else.
