Will Minnesota Vikings QB Brett Favre Come Out of Retirement? Brother Says No
Minnesota Vikings quarterback Brett Favre retired following a disappointing 2010 season that saw him end one of the most famous streaks in professional sports–297 consecutive games played, plus an additional 24 in the postseason.
This marks the third straight season that he has retired.
The bigger question remains:
Will this be the third straight season that he un-retires?
According to Brett Favre’s brother, Scott, there is less than a one percent chance that he will return. Scott says, “He is retired.”
Brett’s mother had the following comment to say: “I would hope he would not do it. He is crazy if he does.”
The 11-time Pro Bowler has been rumored to be interested in returning if he can find a team that will make him their starting quarterback.
Personally, I don’t think he will return, and if he did, I don’t think he could find a team that would make him their starting quarterback.
He’s retired, and he should stay retired.
But will he?
