Braves Set To Take On Diamondbacks
The Braves are all set to take on the Arizona Diamondbacks in a four-game series that begins tonight at 9:35 ET at Chase Field in Phoenix.
Eight-game winner Derek Lowe (8-4, 4.44 ERA) will start tonight’s series opener for the Braves, and he will be opposed by Arizona ace Dan Haren, who is 5-4 with a 4.83 ERAÂ Â Â this season.
Kris Medlen (3-1, 2.79 ERA) will make his sixth start of the year for the Braves in place of the injured Jair Jurrjens in the second game of the series on Tuesday night, while the Diamondbacks have not yet announced their starter for the second game.
Kenshin Kawakami will be seeking his first win of the season when he starts for Atlanta in the third game of the series on Wednesday night, and Ian Kennedy (3-3, 3.46 ERA) will start that game for Arizona.
Atlanta’s ace-in-the-making, Tommy Hanson (6-3, 3.71 ERA) will start the series finale for the Braves on Thursday afternoon, while Dontrelle Willis (2-2, 4.38 ERA) will startÂ Â Â Â Â Â Â the finale for Arizona.
