Philadelphia Phillies first baseman Ryan Howard continued his hot streak by extending his hitting streak to 10 games in Saturday’s 10-2 win over the Colorado Rockies. Howard’s only hit of the game was part of a seven-run third inning for the Phils as he hit a bases loaded triple to bring home Jimmy Rollins, Placido Polanco, and Raul Ibanez.

Next up, Howard looks to continue his hitting streak Sunday against Jeff Francis—who is 3-3 on the season. Francis is coming off an impressive win against the Florida Marlins in which he allowed just three hits and zero runs while throwing seven strikeouts.
