2010 This Year In Baseball Awards Has Four Brewers Who Need Your Votes
Brewers fans it is time for our voices to be heard in the 2010 This Year In Baseball Awards. This year the Brewers have four players up for awards and I think it is time that we win some of these awards. Let us take a look at the 2010 This Year In Baseball Awards and who is nominated from the Milwaukee Brewers.
In the Rookie category John Axford the Brewers new closer is dominated. He had some great numbers, but is against some real stiff competition such as Stephen Strasburg who will get a lot of votes. This is why Brewers fans must stand up and be counted.
Ryan Braun is dominated in the Play of the Year category and he has a shot at winning this one. He leaped over up and robbed San Francisco’s Cody Ross of a home run. It was a great catch and he should get a lot of votes for his great grab.
Trevor Hoffman is dominated in the Best Moment category for notching his 600th save. Hoffman has been a dominate pitcher throughout his career, but struggled this past year, but getting his 600th career was special especially in front of the home crowd.
Casey McGehee is nominated in the MLB’s Breakout Player category. McGehee had a wonderful year as he hit .285 with 23 homers and 104 RBIs. He also played a great third base and should get a lot of votes.
We need all the Brewers fans to stand up and vote for these four Brewers players and hopefully they can take home all four awards. It’s about time some Brewer players get some hardware for a change.
