Could Joe Koshansky Be the Answer If Brewers Lose Prince Fielder?
Prince Fielder is the Brewers starting first baseman, but how long he will remain that is under some serious doubt. Fielder wants top money and the Milwaukee Brewers may not want to pay him those high dollars. What options to the Brewers have at first base? Looking on the roster right now there really is no answer. Looking down on the farm especially in Nashville the name Joe Koshansky is a guy that may be exactly what the Brewers need.
Joe Koshansky is a guy who has good size and bats left andthrows left. Last season at Nashville Koshansky hit .264 with 26 home runs and 79 RBI’s. His one drawback is his 152 strikeouts. So far in his minor league career he has hit 171 home runs. The big question is can he do it at the Major League level which can be another whole story. If the Brewers do decide to move Prince Fielder do not be surprise if the name Joe Koshansky gets penciled in the lineup.
