Brewers Profile 2011:Chris Narveson
Chris Narveson is an interesting player for the Milwaukee Brewers. At times he has pitched well, and sometimes you wonder why the Brewers put him on the mound. This past season Narveson was 12-9 with a 4.99 era and gave up 21 home runs. He has a decent strike out to walk ratio. Last year he struckout 137 and only walked 59.
Narveson has only been in the Major Leagues for three seasons, so it maybe awhile before we get a good idea about him. In the minor leagues he was just an average pitcher with a high era. Now one idea that Brewers may want to consider is putting him in the bullpen and putting someone else in the rotation. After the first few starts the Brewers should have a good idea what Chris Narveson will give them in 2011. Hopefully, he will have a breakout season, but I am not counting on that.
