Brewers Sign Jeremy Reed To Minor League What’s Next

The Milwaukee Brewers are still trying to figure out their outfield positions especially centerfield. Ryan Braun and Corey Hart have their spots secured, but centerfield is a work in progress. The Brewers signed Jeremy Reed to a minor league contract and will be invited to spring training. Along with Reed the Brewers have Logan Schafer,Caleb Gindl, Brandon Boggs, ChrisDickerson, and Carlos Gomez trying to win the centerfield job.

One option that the Brewers maybe considering is moving Corey Hart to centerfield and putting Mat Gamel in right field. The Brewers did work with Gamel in the outfield last year and it is a possibility. The Brewers need to find a spot for Gamel who has the tools to be an everyday player. Getting him into the lineup is something that Brewers have been trying to do for some time now. Either way it looks like centerfield is up for grabs and Reed has been added to the mix.
