Chase Utley Plays First Rehab Game for Philadelphia Phillies High-A Team

By Cody Swartz

Chase Utley played his first organized baseball game today since last October, doing so for the Phillies’ high-A team, the Clearwater Threshers.

Utley went 1-for-4 with a strikeout in the team’s 5-1 loss. It was his first taste of action, and he actually didn’t even play the field, just serving as the designated hitter.

Utley is expected to be back to the big-league team by late May or early June.
