Former Philadelphia Phillie Jayson Werth Not Having Fun With the Last Place Washington Nationals?

By Cody Swartz

In a move that shocked the baseball world, Jayson Werth has reportedly made some complaints about the Washington Nationals, saying “things need to change.”

Werth said his comments weren’t intended directly at Nationals’ manager Jim Riggleman.

Regardless, the Nationals might be doing better than 22-28 and in fifth place in the NL East if their $126 million right fielder was producing more than a .249/.343/.442 line with eight home runs and 18 RBI in 50 games. Currently, the Nationals have lost seven of their last nine games.
