Marlins remain hot after ASG
The Florida Marlins looked like they were back to their May form on Thursday night. The Fish came back in the ninth to score six runs to stun the Chicago Cubs 6-3 at Wrigley Field.
Greg Dobbs’ pinch-hit double with the bases loaded in the ninth gave Florida their first lead of the game. Then Gaby Sanchez would add a sac-fly along with RBI singles from new Marlin Mike Cameron and shortstop Hanley Ramirez.
With the win, Florida extends their win streak to six games and now have 20 comeback victories on the season. Florida is also 12-8 under interim manager Jack McKeon.
Starter Anibal Sanchez lasted 6 and 1/3 innings only giving up two earned runs and striking out six. Edward Mujica picked up his seventh win for the Marlins on the season.
