Arrest made in Spring Training Burglary of Longoria and Price

Tampa Bay Rays’ David Price, Evan Longoria & Reid Brignac all share a house during spring training down in Port Charlotte, FL, the spring training home of the Rays, and back in March – that home was robbed while the 3 were playing in a Spring Training game.

Finally, yesterday, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office was able to make an arrest in the case.  Steven Vaughn (22 years old and from Port Charlotte)  was already in Charlotte County jail on unrelated charges has been charged with grand theft, armed burglary of an unoccupied dwelling and dealing in stolen property.  Just a couple of the notable items stolen was a very expensive watch that Price owned, an AK-47 that was registered to Longoria and numerous electronic items that belonged to all 3 men.

The Sheriff’s Office said this is Vaughn’s 10th time being booked into the Charlotte County Jail.
