#2 – Mark Buehrle’s Perfect Game Against Tampa Bay Rays in 2009

The greatest pitching performance in Chicago White Sox history came on July 23, 2009 against the Tampa Bay Rays at US Cellular Field in Chicago. The play of the game came with one out in the ninth inning when centerfielder Dwyane Wise leaped up against the fence to bring back a Gabe Kapler possible home run ball. It was one of the greatest catches in MLB history considering the ramifications of the situation.
