Could Matt Garza be headed to the Tigers?

According to Dave Kaplan of CSNChicago.com the Cubs and Detroit Tigers are engaged in serious trade discussions involving Matt Garza. Any deal that sends Garza to Detroit would likely have to include Tigers top pitching prospect Jacob Turner, a 20 year old right-hander who made three starts for the Tigers last season. This report makes a lot of sense when considered alongside the Cubs reported interest in free agent Paul Maholm. Earlier trade rumors suggested that the Cubs would require Major League ready pitching in any deal for Garza. If the Cubs deal Garza for a package of prospects headed by Turner the signing of Maholm would allow the youngster to start the season in the minor leagues.
