Scott Kazmir Considering Six Teams

There are still a few decent free agent pitchers on the market and one of them happens to be LHP Scott Kazmir. Kazmir appeared in one game for the Los Angeles Angels before getting released after struggling at the Triple-A level.

According to ESPN.com’s Buster Olney, the New York Mets, who drafted the lefty, are interested in Kazmir among five other teams. Kazmir was traded to the Tampa Bay Rays in 2004 for Victor Zambrano.

Kazmir is 66-61 in his career with a 4.17 ERA and 993 strikeouts.
