This season not even officially begun yet and the Atlanta Braves already have their eyes set on the upcoming offseason.
According to ESPN.com’s Jim Bowden, the Braves are set to make pending free agent outfielder Nick Swisher their primary target. The Braves feel like he would be easier to acquire if the New York Yankees decide to part ways with him and go out for Andre Ethier.
Swisher batted .260 and hit 23 home runs for the Yankees in 2011. According to FanGraphs, Swisher is projected to hit 24 homers and bat .266 this year.
