Boston Red Sox Sign Pair Of Outfielders
The Boston Red Sox have come to agreements with two outfielders. The Red Sox signed Jason Repko and Josh Kroeger to minor league contracts, according to Yahoo! Sports.
Jason Repko played in 67 games for the Minnesota Twins in 2011. He hit .226/.270/.286 with two homers and 11 RBI as a bench player last season.
Kroeger with Triple-A New Orleans, the Miami Marlins affiliate, last season. He batted .284 with 11 homers and 56 RBI for New Orleans and has not appeared in a major league game since 2004 with Arizona.
