SP Dylan Axelrod- Axelrod is 1-1 with a 1.56 ERA with 20K and 3BB in 17.1 IP. Axelrod is first in line should anything happen to one of the starters at the MLB level.
1B Dan Johnson- The 1B is hitting .286/.490/.457 with 9 RBI. Johnson already has 14 walks.
SP Jose Quintana- Signed as a minor league free agent this offseason, Quintana has a 0-1 with a 3.24 with 14K and 3BB in 16.2 IP.
OF Jared Mitchell- The 2009 first round pick has been killing it the first few weeks hitting .292/.433/.479 with 3 2B, 3 3B and 10 RBI.
SP Andre Rienzo- Rienzo is 2-0 with a 1.00 ERA with 23K and 5BB in 18 IP. He could move up quickly.
SS/3B Carlos Sanchez- This is a young man to keep an eye on. Sanchez is only 19 years old and hitting .333/.444/.400 with 4 2B and 4 RBI and 2 SB.
SP Blair Walters- Walters is 1-0 with a 2.87 ERA with 19K and 3BB in 15.2 IP.
3B Rangel Ravelo- The young third baseman is hitting .386/.420/.614 with 1 2B, 1 3B, 1 HR and 8 RBI.
Some honorable mentions are SP Eric Stults (AAA), C Josh Phegley (AAA), RP Henry Mabee (AA), SS Drew Garcia (AA), SP Matthew Heidenreich (A+), OF Brady Shoemaker (A+), SP Kevin Vance (A) and C Kevan Smith (A).
