Yes, Josh Hamilton, you are doing it right.

Hamilton is taking a new approach to try to get leaner, bigger and stronger. It is an approach that may shock some people in baseball. There is a new thing going around in the juicing world, and you can take these substances and put them in your body and build your immune system. These substances can be consumed through the mouth and digested in the stomach. Still confused on what substance Hamilton has been taking this winter? It is a little thing called fruits and vegetables.

“The Lord kept waking me up in the middle of the night over a month and every time I’d wake up there’d be a doctor on talking about what you put in your body and how it makes you feel,” Hamilton told the Orange County Register. “And then the juice lady was on. It was like, Alright, I always pray the Lord will help me feel better. Well, that’s all great, but am I doing my part? Now it’s time for me to do my part.”

Hamilton lost 20 pounds this winter heading into the first year of a $125 million contract he signed in December with the Los Angeles Angels. Hamilton will be battling the nightlife of Los Angeles and the repercussions of quitting chewing tobacco cold turkey. Not that it says anything much for people like us but for a baseball player, it has to be tough.

Hopefully for the Angels, this new “juicing” technique does not decrease his ability.
