Cubs Sign Kameron Loe and Kevin Gregg: Everyone Laughs
The Chicago Cubs have help on the way when it comes to their pathetic excuse for a bullpen. Insert Kameron Loe and Kevin Gregg. Unfortunately, I’m not kidding. Loe was claimed yesterday by the Cubs after the slightly better Seattle Mariners didn’t find use for the tall right hander that isn’t any good. Gregg was signed over the last few days. I’d give you the exact date but since it’s Kevin Gregg, I didn’t care enough to find out.
Seriously, this is getting more and more comical by the day. One day after Michael Bowden helped tie the record for wild pitches in an inning and Shawn Camp BALKS in the go ahead run, this is how the Cubs react? To bring in a shlub like Loe and bring back KEVIN GREGG? For the love of Pete, what did we as Cub fans do to deserve this wreck?
Well, at least the plan is in full force! Continue to suck this year, get another top 3 pick, and hope a few of these prospects turn into Willie Mays and Barry Bonds on steroids.
I hope this plan starts to take effect soon because this is unbearable.
Speaking of the “plan”. How in the heck do the Cubs not have 2 arms in the system that are better than Kameron Loe and Kevin Gregg? I mean, come on. That’s just pure brutal and a complete travesty.
Sigh, I knew I should have listened to my heart when I was 5 years old. I would have been a New York Yankees fan. Instead, I’m stuck loving….the Chicago Cubs. Ain’t love grand?
