Texas Rangers’ Nick Tepesch Looking To Get Back At Seattle Mariners

Nick Tepesch will be making the third start of his career tonight, which is also his second against the Seattle Mariners. Tepesch looked very good in his first start of the season against the Tampa Bay Rays, but not quite as good against the Mariners.

The Texas Rangers are playing the second game in a three-game series against the Mariners, and Tepesch will be looking to beat a team that he definitely has the ability to shut down.

This will be Tepesch’s second start in Texas, giving him an even better chance to beat the recently struggling Mariners. The Mariners have not played well in Texas over the last few years and Tepesch should be able to take advantage.

At this point in the season, Tepesch will only be facing a couple of hitters who have had any success. Really, all the Mariners have at this point are Michael Morse and Kendrys Morales. Everyone else in the Mariners lineup have been struggling early this season and they have had a lot of strikeouts over the last few games.

Another realistic struggle Tepesch might face is the fact that the Mariners can stack their lineup with lefties. They have a realistic option to put out seven guys who can hit lefty against a right-handed pitcher, but Morales is the only one who has had any success this season.

Tepesch definitely has the talent to run through the Mariners lineup tonight, and I believe he won’t face to much trouble.
