Los Angeles Angels Josh Hamilton is Starting to Look like Himself
We’ll start this article with a Los Angeles Angels trivia question. Which slugger for the Angels starts Sunday with an 11 game hitting streak and has hit .343 in his last ten games? If you didn’t guess Josh Hamilton you should imagine a loud buzz because you are wrong. That’s right Angels fans (I know you probably have seen the signs) Hamilton is beginning to look like he did last year, the year before and so on. You get the idea.
During that ten game stretch he has 8 RBI and 7 runs scored. Oh, did I mention that he had two crucial hits on Saturday night to help tie the game and then there was that hit in the 11th inning. That one went way over the center field wall and gave the Angels a walk-off victory. Who doesn’t love seeing someone get mobbed by their teammates? Somehow it seems to mean more when the guy has struggled like Hamilton has this year.
Honestly I like to see this. Hamilton might make a ton of money to swing a stick but who playing Major League Baseball doesn’t. The fact of the matter is that he is a class fellow that has been an easy target for people in Texas as well as other places because he made a lot of money and then struggled. Each and every single one of the people that have dogged him and kicked him while he was down should owe Hamilton one big at-a-boy if he continues his upturn. Consider this article my at-a-boy to a hard working and well deserving Hamilton.
