Ryan Braun Spends Day Apologizing to Season Ticket Holders, Losing Restaurant Deal

In perhaps the most satisfying sports story of the day, Ryan Braun reportedly spent all of Thursday personally calling Milwaukee Brewers‘ season ticket holders and apologizing for his ‘actions’ over the past couple of years.

I’m still not convinced this is real life, but if so, what a way for the liar/cheater to start his road to recovery.

Braun has technically already started that journey by releasing a couple of apologies, but either one has yet to convince baseball fans that he’s at all sorry for what he did. Cheating is one thing, it happens all the time in sports, but then subsequently lying about it and dragging people through the mud to cover up your lies, is another. Braun is now in the same ballpark with Lance Armstrong after everything that’s unfolded in the last few weeks.

In other Braun news, the former slugger also lost his restaurant deal on Thursday with the SURG restaurant group. Some speculated this could happen, because who wants to do business with a guy that clearly lacks character? SURG says it will keep Braun’s Italian restaurant open until the end of the year and that it will also change the name of the restaurant that Braun shared with Aaron Rodgers, which is currently called the 8-Twelve MVP Bar and Grill.

You know what they say, karma is a Braun…
