Although the Chicago White Sox still have a few weeks left in their 2013 season, most — if not all — Pale Hose fans have begun looking forward to next year. With this in mind, the 2014 MLB schedule was announced Tuesday afternoon, giving the White Sox and their followers a glimpse of what should be a very interesting 2014 campaign.
For the second straight year, the White Sox will open their season at US Cellular Field. The Minnesota Twins head to the South Side on Monday, March 31 for Opening Day. After three with the Twins, Chicago will head to Kansas City to face the Royals in their first road series of the year.
As far as the interleague play, here’s what the 2014 White Sox have in store:

Other highlights of the White Sox’ 2014 schedule include a three-game set against the Boston Red Sox on April 15 through the 17, which will mark Jake Peavy’s first trip back to US Cellular Filed since being traded in the deal that brought Avisail Garcia to Chicago.
The South Siders will wrap up the 2014 regular season with four games in Chicago against the Royals, with the season finale coming on September 28.
