5 Players On Detroit Tigers' Holiday Shopping List

Raj Mehta - USA TODAY Sports

The Detroit Tigers have already done a little holiday shopping in the month of November, but they still have a lot to purchase over the next month. The Tigers still have plenty of holes left to fill and now have the financial resources available to go out and fix them. So who are the major pieces that the Tigers are going to get to spread cheer across Tiger nation? Who are the gifts that are going to keep on giving in the 2014 season?

One thing is for sure; there are going to be plenty of areas where the Tigers are going to look to attack right away such as in the outfield and in the bullpen. If they can address other needs too at the same time then I am sure they will entertain those thoughts, but most likely those will not even be considered until the Tigers go out and fix those two areas. Also keep in mind that with the added budget and the volume of good players on the market it is not going to be surprising if things move quickly and multiple signings are done before the calendar moves to December.

Take a look at who the Tigers have circled on their holiday shopping list. The Tigers may not end up getting exactly what you had on the list, but odds are they are going to try and get you a few of those items. It is going to be an exciting next month for the Tigers organization. Let's just hope those players don't turn into a lump of coal next season.

Brian Wilson will be on the shopping list. Think of him as that exciting BB Gun which could be an extremely fun item, but it could also poke your eye out.

1. Robinson Cano

Robinson Cano is like seeing a brand new Lamborghini in your driveway with a giant bow on it. It's fun to dream about but not fun being bankrupt for the rest of your life.
