Houston Astros’ Braig Bjornson Takes Frightening Picture on Team’s Photo Day
The Houston Astros are one of the worst teams in MLB and there’s no way around it. They have the lowest payroll in baseball and it’s evident by their lackluster performance on the field as well as the team’s overall record in recent memory. Well, bullpen coach Craig Bjornson has added a bit of excitement — and fear — to the overall look of the team.
Sure, finishing in last place in the division and being the worst team in all of baseball is no fun, but Bjornson has found a way to make things fun — or at least we think — by posing with the craziest face in any MLB photo you will ever see:

Okay, we know this is somewhat terrifying and will probably haunt your dreams tonight, but maybe he’s just playing around and this isn’t his real look. Heck, you can see last year’s photo day look featured above. What was he trying to do here?
There are a couple of theories surrounding this look. Maybe he is trying to scare kids away from watching the Astros so they can actually watch good baseball and learn from that. Maybe he’s trying to out-duel the New Orleans Pelicans‘ King Cake Baby mascot as the scariest face of the year. One thing is for sure, however, Bjornson is the scariest man on the planet right now — and he’s richer than you.
Go get ‘em, Astros.
