Fans of the Toronto Blue Jays were ready to get on the case of the first player to underachieve during Spring Training. Unfortunately for the Jays, there seemed to be more than enough criticism to go around, especially when it comes to the starting pitching. No surprise there.

Here are the five most criticized Toronto Blue Jays during Spring Training.

5. Jose Reyes

Jays fans are not so much being critical of Jose Reyes, although they are concerned that their All-Star shortstop will have to maybe miss the first few games of the season with a bum left hamstring. After missing a total of 69 games in his first season with the Jays, Toronto fans are sure to have less patience for Reyes until he can stay healthy and live up to his reputation as a top-five major league shortstop.

4. Esmil Rogers

Esmil Rogers has turned out to be a big disappointment since being traded for Yan Gomes. In a terrible Spring Training campaign, he's given up 17 ER in just 16.1 IP and isn't anyone's favorite.

3. Marcus Stroman

Many thought that Marcus Stroman would come into Spring Training and magically save the back end of the starting rotation. However, Stroman did anything but impress. he gave up 15 ER in just 9.1 IP. Those numbers have sent him to triple-A.

2. Ricky Romero

The lefty out of East L.A. hasn't exactly done himself any favors, as he continued to struggle in all facets of pitching. Although he only gave up 4 ER in 9.2 IP, he managed to rack up a total of 10 BB, which is way too many to be considered starting rotation material. Ricky's days in the majors may be done for good.

1. Brandon Morrow

Maybe it's because people understand that a lot rides on the shoulders of an injury-prone Brandon Morrow, but Jays faithful starting to doubt the abilities of the big righty more than ever. Morrow has always been thought of as having ace-like stuff, but that still hasn't translated to results in 2014, as he has a 9.00 ERA in 10.0 IP so far this spring.
