Former NBA great Magic Johnson and the Guggenheim Baseball Management Group continue to out-do themselves.

The Los Angeles Dodgers have unveiled brand new stadium upgrades to Dodger Stadium which will both enhance the overall fan experience and bring fans closer to the game than ever before.

Two of the biggest improvements to Dodger Stadium are the plaza areas located behind the left- and right-field pavilion areas. Each plaza will be home to two brand new eateries. Behind the right-field pavilion will be Tommy Lasorda‘s Trattoria which will serve fine Italian food including meatballs, pasta and pizza. Lasorda’s will also feature appearances by the legendary Hall of Fame manager himself. The plaza behind the left-field pavilion will be home to True Blue BBQ, a fresh BBQ eatery that will serve all BBQ essentials and more.

Also located in the plazas will be five-foot-tall replica World Series rings, large replicas of the Golden Glove Award and an interactive 76 ball for fans to toss around before the game.

All of these enhancements are more than enough reason to visit Dodger Stadium this season, but there’s still many more new additions.

One of the best enhancements to come to Dodger Stadium this year are the additions of bar and seating areas located above each bullpen. Whether or not drinking at a Dodger game is your thing, the ability to be right next to your favorite Dodger relievers as they warm-up is simply fantastic.

Last, but certainly not least, the Dodgers have put forth extra effort to improve cell service in the stadium and have added a brand new Wi-Fi network. Fans who have visited the stadium in recent years know how frustrating it was to make a call or try to log on to the Internet from their smart phones. Now, both of these issues will be left in the past.

The Dodgers’ stellar team this season should have been reason enough for fans to attend a game, but the wide array of enhancements make visiting Dodger Stadium a must this year.
