Across America, there's nothing quite like Opening Day. For millions, it's a sign of new things to come and a new beginning for the ball club that they absolutely adore. There are a few cities across the nation that go absolutely crazy for Opening Day, but there are only a handful that treat it like a holiday. In the city of Milwaukee, they have it down to a science. Here are five reasons why the Milwaukee Brewers have the best Opening Day.

You would pretty hard pressed to find a troubled fan in the city of Milwaukee. Fans of the Brewers enjoy good company just as much as they enjoy the game of baseball. Whether you are wearing a different Brewers jersey from the fan next to you or a jersey of a completely different team altogether, those who visit Miller Park are welcomed in instantly by the Brewers' faithful.

Miller Park is the only major league ball park that is completely surrounded by what seems like miles and miles of parking lots. There are more parking spaces available than any sellout crowd at Miller Park would ever need. This is how serious they take their tailgating in Milwaukee and in the state of Wisconsin altogether. Why show up just in time for the first pitch when you can show up in time for a bite of your neighbor's breakfast brat?

On Monday, fans of the Brewers finally got to meet their new unofficial mascot, Hank the dog. By no means does this mean that Bernie Brewer is on his way out, but he does have some competition, as Hank continues to steal the hearts of Brewers' fans all over.

Why have a hot dog when you can have a brat? That's the question that residents of Milwaukee have been asking the rest of the country for a long time now. Whether it's in the parking lot, fresh off the grill before and after the game, or from the concessions inside Miller Park, you can't leave Milwaukee without diving into the best ballpark food around -- a good old fashioned Wisconsin brat.

The Sausage Race at Miller Park is perhaps the greatest event any team in sports history has put together to put a smile on fans' faces. The race takes place in the middle of the sixth inning at every home game that the Brewers play. The race is so entertaining that the oversized sausages running around the field sometimes get a stronger ovation than the Brewers themselves. They really are that hilarious.
