While playing with his Mother's Jack Russell terrier, Cone was bit on his right index finger. Against his belief that he could pitch the game, manager Joe Torre decided against it and handed the ball to "El Douque" instead.

While recovering from Tommy John surgery, relief pitcher Joba Chamberlain was doing what anyone would do while out of work -- jumping on a trampoline. Okay, so not everyone would do that, but Chamberlain decided to and ended up with an open dislocation of his ankle. It was reported that the bone did break through the skin.

It is only fitting that the No. 1 injury on the list would be a Los Angeles Angel player. After hitting a walk-off home run against the Seattle Mariners, Kendrys Morales trotted towards home where his players were there to great him. As he leaped in the air to stomp on home, he broke his left leg when he landed. Shortly after he was carted off the field, the Angels were in discussion about how to celebrate walk-off victories.
