Ranking the Houston Astros' Top 5 Pitching Prospects

Almost everyone knows how good the Houston Astros minor league system is right now. Coupled into that assumption is the fact that they probably have some of the better pitchers in the minor leagues as well. It might surprise a few then that they have not performed all that well so far. Take a look at their top five pitching prospects and how well they are doing or how well they aren't doing.

Through five appearances and three starts Feliz has 6.39 ERA and 1.97 WHIP. Neither number is very good but the season is young.

In six appearances and three starts, Velasquez has a 3.13 ERA and 1.00 WHIP. That makes the second best ERA and best WHIP on this ranking.
