More and more people are starting to branch out and drive eco-friendly vehicles these days. Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona is one of those people.

Check out this Instagram video shot by a fan who spotted Francona on the streets of Cleveland:

The video caption reads: “Think I scared Tito a little bit #indians.” True Statement.

Francona did seem a little startled, but who wouldn’t be? He was just putting along on his scooter/moped and minding his own business. He probably thought he was incognito on that thing, but not anymore.

But the real question — can Francona get 70 MPG on that hawk?

As for the Indians, they’re currently going through some difficult times. The team is 11-17 on the young season and in last place in the AL Central. This is Francona’s second year at the helm in Cleveland, with his first season resulting in a playoff berth. 2014 doesn’t appear to be headed in the same direction, but you never know. A lot can change during the long haul that is the baseball season.

This is Francona’s third overall managing gig in MLB, with stops in Philly and Boston prior to his arrival in Cleveland. He of course led the Red Sox to two World Series titles before the team came unraveled in 2011. That season led to the infamous beer and chicken stories and his departure from Bean Town.

It should also be noted that Francona coached Michael Jordan during his stint in the minors with the Birmingham Barons back in 1994.
