With the Los Angeles Dodgers on top of the National League West, any top prospects would be lucky to give the team an added boost. Who will be the chosen ones?

You may not be able to rely on older bullpen guys like Jamey Wright or Paul Maholm, which is why Chris Anderson could get a shot. Anderson was drafted No. 18 overall in last year's draft, but there could always be a bullpen spot open for a young pitcher like him.

Lefty pitchers usually have an easier route to the bigs, and the same could hold true for Chris Reed. Reed is unlikely to get a starting job, but a long relief slot is always open for a youngster like him.

Zach Lee is still adjusting to Triple-A hitting and only has a 5.04 ERA in 18 starts. The Dodgers may not have a steady middle of the rotation with Dan Haren and Josh Beckett, which is why Lee could see time in the rotation either on the Dodgers or somewhere else this season.

2. Alexander Guerrero

Because Dee Gordon is having an All-Star type year thus far, Alexander Guerrero is not going to see time at second base immediately. Guerrero could provide infield depth as the season wears on and the Dodgers get into the stretch run.

Joc Pederson has an interesting track to the majors. He is currently injured with a separated shoulder and is out. When he returns, Pederson could find himself on the Dodgers if the team should make a trade involving Matt Kemp. Pederson is the next best hitting prospect on Los Angeles and will be with the Dodgers very soon.
