The White Sox are 7.5 games out of first place in the AL Central. The team could be in sell mode as the season starts to trickle down and Chicago is starting to wave some pieces in front of teams ready to buy.
Adam Dunn is being vaguely thrown around in trade rumors. The Seattle Mariners could be interested in Dunn, but nothing crazy has been rumored about Dunn as of yet.
There is one thing the Houston Astros data leak did tell us about the White Sox: Players like Chris Sale and Jose Abreu are safe. Sale is one of the best pitchers in the American League and there is no doubt teams will be targeting him eventually.
The trade rumors are not bothering Dayan Viciedo, adding to the speculation that he will be traded soon. Viciedo is being targeted by the San Francisco Giants and Seattle Mariners. A trade could be finalized prior to the July 31 deadline.
Jose Quintana may not be available as of right now, but things could change in a few weeks. Quintana did sign a five-year contract extension in spring training and is a nice rotation complement to Chris Sale. Chances of Quintana being traded are getting slimmer.
New rumors out of Chicago put Gordon Beckham on the trade block. Beckham is under control until 2015 and for teams looking for a solid infielder, Beckham would make the perfect fit. However, what Chicago is commanding in return is unknown.
