As the MLB trade deadline approaches, there are plenty of quality players still on the market. Throughout the league, there are several players at various positions who may be switching jerseys in the next two weeks. Here are 10 who should be shipped to contenders this trade deadline.

The Rangers need to pile up prospects for the future as they're spiraling to the basement of all of baseball this season. Trading the leader in batting average in the AL would certainly be a good start. Beltre is a veteran who is still an elite hitter and would be coveted by several contenders.

Ramirez is having the best season of his career and the time is now for the White Sox to move him. They tried to move him last season, but he's actually more valuable now. For the White Sox, who need to add youth to a slightly below average team, dealing Ramirez should be a no-brainer.

Willingham is the perfect piece to any contender. He's a veteran who is capable of driving in runs and getting on base. He's actually having one of the better seasons of his career, so the Twins should be more than capable of getting a solid return for him.

As the Red Sox slip more and more out of the playoff race, they need to get realistic. Lester may not be returning to Boston, so they need to get something for him. Whether a team wants to trade and extend him or just rent him for the final two months of the season, there are plenty of teams who want to add pitching depth down the stretch.

Headley has appeared ready to move for quite some time, but it finally appears he could be headed somewhere else this season. He could fit nicely into the middle of a lineup and make it deeper for a contender. With his injury history, he should be available for a decent price.

Street has been one of the best closers in baseball this season and that means there's going to be interest in him this trade deadline. He could head somewhere out west like the Athletics or Angels. Both are in need of a consistent closer.

Bonifacio has been injured for over a month, but if he can prove he's healthy, teams will certainly be interested in him. He can play most infield and outfield positions, which makes him versatile and he provides a spark. He's got speed and the ability to score runs, so he could be on the move if healthy.

A veteran lefty with playoff experience is a hot commodity this time of the year. Lee has proven to be clutch down the stretch and in October, so any team that wants more pitching depth will inquire about the Phillies' former Cy Young candidate.

Murphy has put together the best season in his major league career, earning himself an All-Star spot. With the ability to leave after the season, the Mets need to unload their most valuable asset in order to add more youth to a promising farm system.

Smith provides a left-handed veteran bat, which most contenders could use. His value is pretty high right now and the Padres could ship him and teammates elsewhere in order to give their farm system a shot in the arm as they prepare to contend in the future.
