As is the case with most years, Chicago Cubs fans haven’t had much to cheer about in 2014. You can even argue that the Triple-A Iowa Cubs are a more entertaining team to watch. Why? It’s a team loaded with top notch prospects.
Javier Baez was one of the those prospects. The 21-year old second baseman made his MLB debut on Tuesday night. He went hitless in his debut, that is, until he decided to go yard in the 12th inning to put the Cubs ahead for good:
